Motherhood is an essential and valuable role in our society. Mothers play a crucial role in their children's lives, providing love, support, and care. Black and Brown mothers have a complex and multifaceted experience. They are required to encompass love, joy, and pride and face many challenges, struggles, and discrimination. Mothers in Communities of Color face unique obstacles, such as the high rates of Maternal Mortality and Morbidity, the Racial Wealth Gap, and the systemic racism that permeates American Society. Despite these struggles, Mothers from CoC have shown remarkable resilience, strength, and determination in raising their Children. Ultimately, both community and parenting are essential for creating a supportive and nurturing environment for Children to thrive in.
